Bernard-Henri Lévy at ֱwith Lecture and Book Signing
ֱ and the Palm Beach Book Festival will present Bernard-Henri Lévy for a lecture and book signing on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the University Theatre, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at or by calling 561-297-6124.
Lévy is a French philosopher, activist, filmmaker and author of more than 30 books including “The Genius of Judaism,” “American Vertigo,” “Who Killed Daniel Pearl?” and his most recent “The Empire and the Five Kings: America’s Abdication and the Fate of the World.” His writing has appeared extensively in publications throughout Europe and the United States. He was one of the leaders of the “Nouveaux Philosophes” movement in 1976. The Boston Globe has said that he is “perhaps the most prominent intellectual in France today.”
Lévy’s opinions, political activism and publications also have been the subject of several controversies over the years. Lévy is co-founder of the antiracist group SOS Racisme and has served on diplomatic missions for the French government.
