ֱFoundation Board Appoints Three New Members
The ֱ Foundation Board of Directors has welcomed three new members: Marny Glasser; Michael L. Miller; and Bernard Paul-Hus.
The ֱ Foundation Board of Directors has welcomed three new members: Marny Glasser; Michael L. Miller; and Bernard Paul-Hus.
“I am pleased to welcome these new members to the ֱFoundation Board,” said Patricia McKay, ’78, chair of the ֱFoundation. “Their broad experience and insights will greatly benefit the foundation and the ֱcommunity as a whole.I look forward to working with them.”
Marny Glasser currently serves as chair of the ֱCollege of Arts and Letters advisory board, a position she has held since 2012. She established the Harold L. Glasser Collection at FAU’s Wimberly Library in 2011. In the early 1980s, Glasser was an entertainment producer. Her husband founded the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, which she helped produce.
Michael L. Miller is the president and CEO at IBM Southeast Employees’ Credit Union (IBMSECU). IBMSECU is a full-service financial institution with nearly $1 billion in total assets and serves the ֱcommunity for all their financial needs with their 16 branch locations. He is a member of the Credit Union Executive Society and enjoys serving on the board of directors for the Florida Credit Union Shared Services, Inc., Cypress Group LLC, and the Southeast Credit Union Foundation. Miller has served as vice president of the Brownsburg Education Foundation and helped establish the Indiana Members Foundation.
Bernard Paul-Hus is the president and CEO at Hypower, Inc., which was founded in 1991. Hypower operates in 20 states and has more than 350 employees. Hypower received the Business of the Year award in 2012 from the South Florida Business Journal. Paul-Hus supports local community organizations such as Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth (HANDY), Boys & Girls Club, Cystic Fibrosis Association, and ABC Cares.
The ֱFoundation Board is comprised of a dedicated group of alumni and friends of the University who volunteer their time and expertise to spearhead fundraising efforts and manage the Foundation’s assets.
