Vision for the Center of eLearning
The Center for eLearning is introducing several new services to support faculty, departments and colleges in meeting their goals for the development of online programs. A quick overview of those services is provided in a short Vision for the Center of eLearning presentation online. The Center is currently planning to hire additional instructional designers who will be able to assist all full time faculty members (this includes anyone who has or has not taken the CeL 1001 course) with the development of future courses. Faculty members, using the new services, will receive compensation in the form of stipends for their time spent developing courses. The Center of eLearning is now accepting eDesign Consult applications from faculty who are interested in developing courses for summer or fall 2014. For a complete descriptions of all of the support tools and programs we now have available to you, visit our website. In the spring, we are offering the eCertification for Facilitator. Anyone teaching a predesigned course or are assisting with the teaching of a course would benefit from this training opportunity. For an application and information visit the eCertification page of our website.
The Center is appreciative of the effort of all of our distance educators.
