The International Friends Program matched current ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥students with new, incoming international students. ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥students help the international students transition to life at FAU, as well as serve as a resource for campus life. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and/or become friends with students from the university you studied abroad with or plan to study abroad. Professional Organizations

There are many organizations, both nationally and statewide, that are designed to keep students involved in the international education community. Each of these organizations furthers international education in their own way while also providing opportunities for students to stay involved. Some of these organizations offer memberships at a discounted rate for students. Here are a few of those organizations.

Post Study Abroad

In addition to becoming involved with the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Study Abroad Ambassadors and other organizations, there are many ways to enjoy your post study abroad experience(s). The ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Education Abroad office is always available to discuss options/opportunities with students.

Ìý Go Abroad Again

We encourage students to study abroad as many times as they are able to, as long as it works academically, financially, etc. Students can set up an appointment with either Alex Baker, Steph Pack, or Brendan Richardson to discuss options.

Ìý Fulbright Student Program

TheÌý Ìýprovides grants for recently graduates students or graduating seniors to conduct individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant Programs. Individuals who receive a grant will meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country. Ìý ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Owls Abroad Photo Contest

·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Education Abroad hosts an annual photo competition where the students who studied abroad in the previous academic year will submit two photos from their time abroad.
